Switch The Reel

Been incarnating here,

All through existence.

Been shedding my skins,

Shifting shapes, gaining distance

Between me and illusions I’d formed

As I witnessed,

Previous things,

‘fore I held to my fitness.

My soul is the light,

My brain, the projector,

The movie that’s playing

Is just a reflector,

Of previous thoughts,

That I’ve carried and held to;

I’ve rewritten them now,

So this novel is new.

I’m choosing my thoughts,

As an editor do,

Directing myself

As my wealth does accrue,

Each corner I turn,

I’ll devise what is true.

Each flip of the script,

Every turn of the page

Sets me to rights,

Cue the lights,

Set the stage

All of us actors,

In this cosmic play,

Of infinite roles,

And We cast them this way,

I open myself,

To each new dimension,

Observing and growing,

Revise as I mention,

The things that I view,

Keep shifting their essence,

I’ll rewrite as I go,

I am crafting my presence.

I love myself,

My authentic expression,

My calling, my oneness,

Been learning my lessons,

Each table that turns,

Been raining down blessings,

And soaking in substance,

I jettison reticence.

Breathing each breath,

Of love from within,

I open myself and the magic begins.
